For Master Gardener Volunteers

Master Gardeners are an important part of MSU Extension. They help expand Michigan State University’s reach to individuals and communities across the state. In 2010, 4,880 volunteers were involved in 225,517 hours of helping individuals and communities grow! These volunteers were involved in efforts to enhance environmental stewardship; provide access to healthy, affordable food; improve communities and enrich the lives of young people through gardening.
